The Experience Is Always Child-Led

Krampus may look a little mysterious, but the experience is playful, theatrical, and completely guided by your child's comfort level.

Here's what you can expect:

  • No chasing or grabbing. Krampus will never chase, grab, or force an interaction with your child.

  • Your child sets the pace. They can approach, wave, watch from a distance, or simply enjoy the moment.

  • Parents stay close. You're welcome to be right beside your child throughout the experience.

  • Siblings can stick together. Sometimes a little encouragement from a brother or sister makes all the difference.

  • Every reaction is welcome. Brave faces, shy smiles, curious glances, and even a little skepticism can make wonderful photographs.

There is no pressure to interact. Sometimes the most magical photograph happens when Krampus is simply lurking somewhere in the background.

Will Krampus scare my child?

Our Krampus is a theatrical character, not a jump scare. He never chases, grabs, or forces interactions. We follow your child's comfort level and let them decide how close they'd like to get

What if my child doesn't want to approach him?

That's perfectly fine! Your child can stay with you, watch from a distance, or have Krampus appear in the background. There's no pressure to interact.

Do parents get to participate?

Absolutely! Parents are encouraged to stay close, offer reassurance, and join in the photographs when they'd like. Siblings and families are welcome, too.

Are these sessions just for children?

Not at all! Couples, families, best friends, adults, and leashed pets are welcome. Krampus mischief is for everyone!
